Evening Performance

An Alan Maley Pattern

I am stitching this project on 16ct antique white fabric and I have mounted the mesh on stretcher bars.  This piece is a gift for a very special family and I will only be working on  this pattern until it is completed.

Updated -  January 6, 2008

I have been having so much fun working this piece. I have been working pretty much all over on this piece because I wanted to establish all of the outer edges. I have been working the top left corner, page 1.1 and the page below, page 1.2. These two pages are almost finished but I am now working on pages 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4. By the next update pages 1.1 and 1.2 should be completed and I will have done more work on the other three pages.

Carmela Bertagna

A John Singer Sargent pattern

I am stitching this project on 16 count ecru aida fabric and  I have mounted the mesh on stretcher bars.

Updated - August 16

This is a piece that I started quite some time ago  but I just decided to work on it again.  Right now I am working on pages 1,2 and 1,3 which is mainly the background area of the piece.  I have also laid in some color for pages 1,1 , 2,1 and 3,1.. In addition I have also been working on page 3,2 which is the right side of the face. This again is a very easy piece to stitch and it is nice to see the face almost completed.

Nicole

An Eva Eriksen pattern

This a another new piece that I have started working on and it is from our new Eva Eriksen Doll Gallery. I mentioned to Eva that I would like to purchase Nicole from her if she was still available and she graciously gave her to Felice and I as a gift. I wanted to start it straight away as I was intrigued with the face particularly the eyes. I am stitching this project on 16ct antique white fabric and I have mounted the mesh on stretcher bars.

Updated - August 16

I have finished the middle and top section of the pattern. I have also started to lay some color into the section below her face which is the lacy part of her dress. I am also working on the right side of her dress.

Pipe And Bowl Sign Painter

A Norman Rockwell pattern

I am stitching this project on 18 count Fiddlers Lite and  I have mounted the mesh on stretcher bars.  In this piece I am not stitching the background.

Updated - August 16

I have been working on numerous pages on this piece in order to get an overall idea of what it will look like.  This is not something I recommend but my doing it this way people can see the outcome better. I am  pleased with the way that it is turning out.

Girl With Umbrella

An Esther Hunt pattern

I am stitching this project on 25ct dark tan Laguna and I am stitching it 1 over 1.  I have mounted the mesh on stretcher bars. I do not suggest that people work the piece as I am but rather work one page at a time to completion. I work them this way so that you can see them taking shape a little faster.

Updated - August 16

I have been working on  a number of different sections on this piece but mainly concentrating on page 2,1 to get it completed. I have also been working on other areas just to put in some reference stitches for when I get back to them. I am really enjoying this piece.   Right now I am working on the bottom section.

I have been working on pages 2,2 and 3,2 because I wanted to get the girl's face done. I am now also working on page 2,1. I will be continuing to work on the top part of her head and then I will be going back to work on the left side of her face.

Dervish Portrait

An Atanur Dogan Pattern

This is a piece that I have completed and framed.  It is stitched on 16ct Antique White Aida over one. I finished this project quite a while ago but could not decide on what frame to use and then found this one which I think works well.

Frodo

A Mark Ferrari Pattern

I am so happy because I have finished Frodo. The eyes are wonderful and they seem to look at you no matter where you stand. In a way I am also a little sad that he is finished because he was a lot of fun to work on. By not stitching the background and stitching it on the Fiddler's Lite it gave the piece more depth.

Isle Of Spruce

An Arthur Lismer Pattern

This is a piece that I finished recently and  got back from the framers. It is stitched on 16ct Antique White Aida over one.
