The Chess Game

An Art Deco pattern

I am stitching this project on 16 ct Aida and I have mounted the mesh on stretcher bars. The finished size of the pattern will be approximately 12" x 16".

Latest Update

I started working from the centre portion of the pattern and have started working a little on the top right-hand corner. I am just putting in certain colours as I go along on each page of the pattern, jsut to get an overall outline, and will fill in all the stitches once the outline of the entire pattern is achieved. This is just my way of working the pattern. This is a very fun and colourful piece to stitch and I am very pleased with how it is turning out.

I have been working on the centre section of the pattern but progress is slow because I am alternating my wips and working on a particular pattern when I feel like it, just for a change.
